On May 19, 2014, 60-year-old Horace Jackson was shot and killed in his Southeast Houston home. The incident took place late at night, and Jackson’s brother was also present inside the house at the time of the shooting. According to initial reports, several shots were fired, leading to Jackson being critically injured. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Jackson succumbed to his injuries.
