On January 11, 2017, Juan Tzep Cotiy, a 17-year-old male, was shot and killed while walking with his father in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred near 10175 Harwin, where Cotiy and his father were heading to work. According to reports, as Juan walked ahead of his father, three male suspects approached him. Two of the suspects ran across the street towards Juan, while a third exited a small, four-door vehicle parked nearby.
