Michael Wright, aged 47, was shot and killed on February 22, 2008, in Memphis, Tennessee. Wright's death remains part of Memphis's unsolved cases, investigated by the city's Cold Case Unit. Two men approached his residence, asking for him before entering the home, demanding money, and ultimately shooting Wright multiple times before fleeing the scene. Despite initial investigations, there have been no suspects identified or arrests made in connection with his murder.
