On a cold February day in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 47-year-old Michael Wright was tragically cut short. The African American male was found deceased on February 22, 2008, in the vicinity of 351 Hernando Street. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately deemed a homicide by the Memphis Police Department, sparking an investigation into the untimely and violent end to Mr. Wright's life.
