On May 6, 1991, 19-year-old Jose Garcia was killed in Anderson, California. The details surrounding the homicide indicate that Garcia was chased by a group of men before being violently attacked. Witnesses testified that Garcia ran, but was ultimately tripped and fell, at which point the group began to beat him.
