In the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 24, 2013, a violent intrusion shattered the peace of a Memphis home. William Rodgers, a 41-year-old Black / African American male, was inside his residence at 1015 Palermo when one or more unknown individuals forced their way in and opened fire. The sudden eruption of gunfire in the pre-dawn darkness proved fatal for Rodgers.
