On December 7, 1995, Barbara Barnes, a 13-year-old schoolgirl from Steubenville, Ohio, disappeared while walking to Harding Middle School. Her body was discovered more than two months later, on February 22, 1996, buried in a shallow creek bed near Clinton, Pennsylvania, close to Pittsburgh International Airport.
