On October 6, 1995, Morris Jordan, aged 70, was tragically killed during a robbery in Cincinnati, Ohio. The incident took place at 563 W Liberty Street in the hallway outside of Jordan’s apartment. Jordan was shot during the robbery, and police identified the suspects as two black males. Unfortunately, despite initial investigations, no arrests have been made, and the case remains unsolved to this day.
This homicide is part of the Ohio Attorney General’s list of unsolved cases. The Cincinnati Police Department has continued to seek public assistance in obtaining any new information regarding the suspects involved in the crime. Authorities have urged anyone with information that might help solve this case to contact the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) in hopes of finding some resolution for Jordan’s family and the community. Jordan’s death was a shocking loss, highlighting the vulnerability of elderly residents to violent crimes during that period. The case remains active in the cold case files of Cincinnati, with continued calls for community support to help bring justice to Morris Jordan and his loved ones.
