Jeffrey Risner, also known by the nickname "Chumley," was found dead on March 2, 2006, at his home on Palmer Street in Fostoria, Ohio. Risner, who was 50 years old, was discovered lying on the floor of his garage in a pool of blood, indicating that the circumstances of his death were highly suspicious. The Fostoria Police Department responded to the scene and quickly involved detectives and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) to assist in processing the evidence.
