On December 19, 2006, Robert Landers-Carr, aged 30, was shot and killed in the parking lot of Big Muffler located at 4101 Salem Avenue in Trotwood, Ohio. The incident occurred around 4:27 p.m., and Landers-Carr died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds. He was found at the scene, but despite an ongoing investigation by the Dayton Police Department, no suspects have been identified.
