Carey Barnes, aged 27, was murdered on August 21, 2011, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The incident occurred at his home on Glenmeadow Lane when two men forced their way in as his girlfriend returned from the grocery store. During the confrontation, Barnes was shot and killed. The investigation revealed that this was a targeted attack, and arrests were made in connection with the crime. One of the suspects later took a plea deal, admitting his role in the homicide.
