On October 27, 2012, 40-year-old Lynford Taylor was shot and killed while riding in the backseat of a friend's car in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred when Taylor and his friend were driving in the area of East Livingston Avenue and Beechwood Road. Reports indicate that someone fired shots into the vehicle, striking Taylor, who later succumbed to his injuries.
