On July 10, 2013, 18-year-old Derrick Da' Shawn Williams was tragically shot and killed in Steubenville, Ohio. The incident occurred around 3:22 a.m. at a residence located at 1124 Claire Avenue. Responding to reports of gunfire, Steubenville Police discovered Derrick Williams deceased inside the home, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Four other individuals were also present in the residence at the time of the shooting but were unharmed.
The investigation revealed that the gunfire originated from outside the house, with multiple shots fired into the building. Despite efforts by local law enforcement, the identity of the person or persons responsible remains unknown, and the case is still unsolved. Authorities continue to seek information from the public in the hope of finding those responsible for Derrick's death.
