On September 22, 2014, 20-year-old De'Andre Forrest was shot and killed on the Southeast Side of Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred late at night, in the area of Courtright and Oakcrest Roads. Columbus police officers were responding to reports of a shooting when they found Forrest lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his upper body. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
