On September 11, 2016, Martinique King, a 23-year-old woman from Cleveland, Ohio, was tragically killed in a double homicide. The incident took place on East 86th Street in Cleveland, where Martinique King and Jahad McLaughlin Jr., who was also 22 years old at the time, were both shot to death. Witnesses in the vicinity reported hearing a series of gunshots followed by a woman’s scream, and then more gunfire shortly afterward.
