A teenager is found shot to death
On July 5, 2018, Damonta Naeschonn Martin, a 17-year-old from Akron, Ohio, was found fatally shot near Catskill Drive and Dahlgren Drive at around 10:55 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the case remains unsolved. Damonta, who stood at 6' 1" and weighed around 200 pounds, was known by his nickname "Cheeto." The Akron Police Department has been investigating the circumstances of his death and is seeking any information that may help bring justice to Damonta's family. Community members ...
