A man is found shot, lying in the street
On July 9, 1970, Oscar Wright was found lying in the street on East Whittington Street in Greensboro, North Carolina, after being shot. Police responded to the scene around 11:10 p.m. Wright was immediately transported to Moses Cone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. His murder remains unsolved, and it is listed as one of Greensboro's cold cases.
