A nude man's body is found next to a guard rail
On a late summer day, the 18th of September in 1978, the body of a 33-year-old Native American man, Robert Ridley, was discovered under grim circumstances. His nude remains were found abandoned near a guardrail lining the Pyramid Lake highway, in an area north of Sparks, Nevada. The discovery of Ridley's body immediately launched a homicide investigation by the Washoe County Sheriff's Office.
