A teen is shot and killed minutes after he gets off his school bus
Johntavious Swift, a 16-year-old high school student from Omaha, Nebraska, was tragically killed on September 24, 2014. He had just gotten off his school bus near 36th and Forest Lawn Avenue and was walking home when a vehicle approached him. A suspect exited the car and shot Swift multiple times in what witnesses described as a targeted attack. Despite efforts from those nearby to help, Swift succumbed to his injuries.
