A 16 year old girl's remains are found in a Michigan recreation area
Kimberly Louiselle, a 16-year-old from South Lyon, Michigan, was tragically murdered in 1982. She was last seen on March 20, 1982, near Eight Mile and Merriman roads in the Livonia area while attempting to hitchhike home. After her disappearance, a large-scale search was conducted, but it wasn't until April 14, 1982, that her body was discovered off a wooded trail in the Island Lake Recreation Area, in Green Oak Township, approximately 20 miles from where she was last seen.
