In the spring of 2012, the streets of Baltimore were marked by a series of violent encounters, one of which claimed the life of 28-year-old Shavar Little. A Black male, Little was gunned down on the evening of Tuesday, May 8, 2012. The shooting occurred in the area of the 1900 block of Aisquith Street and the 1100 block of East 20th Street.
